World Autism Awareness Day!
Omega-3 & Autism Many children with autism tend to have low levels of omega-3 fats. Omega-3 is essential for optimal brain health, mental wellbeing and reduces inflammation. Sources of omega-3 include fish, nuts, and seeds. Studies have shown that omega-3 supplements can help reduce hyperactivity in autistic children; however, more research is needed to confirm this finding.
