What is the Best Way to Break your Fast?
Tuesday, June 7, 2016
Break your fast of Ramadan with 1 to 3 dates and a cup of milk or yogurt.
Dates are rich in potassium, which aids in hydration and restores electrolyte balance. Milk is high in calcium and water and other essential nutrients. This combination provides a refreshing burst of much-need energy. It is also recommended to wait 10-20 min after breaking your fast (usually prayer time) and starting your Iftar meal, which will help calming your hunger.
